You Know Who Is Going To Hell? People Who Set Cats On Fire.

The Daily Record reports that in Clinton Township, N.J., a tiny kitty named Justin is recovering from severe burns—somebody in Philadelphia apparently set the kitten on fire last week. He was taken to Jersey for care.

“He has some burns on his back and his head,” said Dr. Wendy E. Ross, owner of Crown Veterinary Specialists in Lebanon, adding that Justin has first-, second- and third-degree burns and has lost the tip of one of his ears. “Someone apparently set him on fire in Philadelphia, and Animal Alliance brought him to us for care.

“He’s doing well. He’s a feisty little guy,” said Ross, adding that Justin is expected to make a full recovery but might have some permanent bald spots. Zinc burn cream is being used to help his skin heal.

A co-worker points out that Justin is still pretty adorable:

Still: Who would burn a kitten? What’s wrong with the kind of person who would do that?Do they not understand that they’re committing evil? Hopefully, we’ll find out soon: The Humane Society of the United States is offering a $5,000 reward for the arrest and conviction of the perpetrator.
