Always Sunny Could Be Headed To Big Screen (Or Not, Whatever)

Folks like Perez Hilton are breathlessly reporting that It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia could become a movie as soon as the gang wraps up a few more TV seasons.

But the whole story seems to hinge on a few seconds of video with show creator Rob McElhenney, who may not be answering the question in this clip so much as he’s trying to get away from an unwanted camera-wielding TMZ reporter:

This isn’t a precise transcript, but the exchange basically goes like this:

TMZ Guy: “Rob! Big fan! Make a movie, please! Please! Please! Say yes or I won’t go away.”

McElhenney: “Sure. (Voice taking on Doppler effect as he speeds away.) Whatever. Maybe. Gotta TV first. Bye.”

Lame.
