Taylor Swift Is Going To Be This Generation’s Michael Jackson, Isn’t She?

Well, this is just kind of weird:

Taylor Swift is finally firing back at Tina Fey and Amy Poehler for their bit about her during the Golden Globes.
“You know, Katie Couric is one of my favorite people,” Swift told (Vanity Fair magazine.) “Because she said to me she had heard a quote that she loved, that said, ‘There’s a special place in hell for women who don’t help other women.’”

As Gawker notes, that’s not necessarily the most awkward part of the interview. Swift denies buying a house that public records show she actually did. Also, she drinks lavender lemonade. In any case, we remember another emotionally fragile lipstick-wearing pop susperstar who seemed unable to form lasting attachments to other adults. Let’s hope this story has a happier ending. And that Swift doesn’t own any chimps.
