Penn’s “Making History” Campaign Nets Largest Fundraising Haul in History

Penn’s “Making History” campaign has raised $4.3 billion since its launch in 2007, breaking all previous records, and surpassing the $3.5 billion goal it set for itself. Collected from 326,952 donors, the money has been been used primarily to support faculty, provide financial aid, develop new facilities, and most of all, to conduct research. (Speaking of research, beware the sequester, Quakers.) [Daily Pennsylvanian]
