Philly Doesn’t Make Forbes’ “Most Miserable Cities” List, but A.C. Does

Who is Forbes to tell us we’re not miserable? But we’ll take it. Forbes’s annual misery index is out, and based off factors like unemployment, violent crime, taxes, weather, and commute times, Philly didn’t make the top 20. Camden (42.5% living below the poverty rate) and A.C. did come in at #13 and #15, however. Mostly, the list was comprised of cities in the midwestern rustbelt (Detroit was #1), and in foreclosure-wracked inland California. [Forbes]
