Jeep Targeted by Philly-Loving Twitter Hackers

Remember Monday, when hackers took over Burger King’s Twitter account, said the chain had been bought by McDonalds, and gave a shout-out to Philly?

Well, today, hackers have taken over Jeep’s official Twitter account … and given a shout-out to Philly.

And here’s a photo, just in case that Tweet is later erased, which seems likely:

In any case, it kind of figures doesn’t it? Philly has spent recent years working hard to create an image of itself as a tech incubator; now it might finally cement that reputation, but only through the digital equivalent of vandalism. Some things never change, do they?
