Another Uppity College Coach Turns Down Eagles Job

Well, this is embarrassing. Oregon coach Chip Kelly apparently turned down a job from the Eagles, along with offers from a handful of other NFL teams, to keep coaching in college. This just days after Penn State’s Bill O’Brien, coach of a team officially prohibited from being successful, rejects the Birds to stay in Happy Valley. Maybe the team should take these stinging slaps in the face as a sign that it should pursue coaches with a little more professional experience. And a little more respect for their elders.
