Man Attempts Suicide on Tracks of Ben Franklin Bridge

Between 8:00 and 8:30 this morning a man stepped in front of a PATCO train on the tracks above the Ben Franklin Bridge, in an apparent suicide attempt. He lived, sustained minor injuries, and as of 40 minutes ago, was being removed from the tracks. The train, which was for some reason empty, is still stuck on the tracks (again, as of last update). Commuters facing delays will probably be slightly less ticked off when they find out why. [Philly.com]
