Girl Survived Sandy Hook Shooting by Playing Dead in Classroom

Of sixteen students in a first grade classroom targeted during the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting on Friday, only one survived. According to her pastor, the six year-old played dead on the floor until the ordeal was over, eventually running out of the school covered in blood. The first student to run out of the school, she told her waiting mother, “I’m okay but all my friends are dead.” [ABC News]
