VIDEO: Roundup of People Video Bombing the News During Hurricane Sandy

It’s 2012, so you can’t film anything in public without some guy sneaking into the frame and calling his 13-year-old while waving. (Dad, stooooooop. You’re so embarrassing.) Also, every Jimmy and Joey from the block wants to make the 6 o’clock news. So, with America’s weather reporters hurrying to cover the wrath of Sandy, there were plenty of opportunities for America’s best and brightest to get their 15 minutes.

The now infamous Hurricane Horse Man.

Apparently the “Gangnam Style” thing isn’t quite played out yet down in Norfolk.

Da-da-dadadadada-da-da-da, da-da-dadadadada-da-da-da.

They ask the old guy in the Pats hat to stop waving at the camera. He politely reminds them that they’re in America.

Al Jazeera is informing its viewers that things are getting pretty bad along the coast in Delaware. Meanwhile, two bros walk through the background just trying to shred some gnarly swell.

Can’t beat the YouTube description of this one: “Some dickhead in a Bledsoe Jersey bombs WBZ’s Joe Shortsleeves live report from Martha’s Vineyard.”

“That’s never a good idea, folks.”

Wait for it… wait for it… wait for it… guy on a bike.
