MTV Finally Cancels Jersey Shore

Jersey Shore debuted on MTV in late 2009, but it seems like the show has been on the air for an eternity. We’ve basically been living in a tangent reality a la Back to the Future II where Jersey Shore is Grays Sports Almanac and now motorcycle gangs rule the streets and Biff beats our mother in his Pleasure Paradise penthouse. The show’s upcoming sixth season will be promoted as its last thanks to declining ratings and an overall national feeling of “eh” toward all of the cast members. Good thing DJ Pauly D is already rich and The Situation has that lucrative career promoting protein vodka to fall back on. [Variety]
