Penn State Board Member Denies Voting to Take Down Paterno Statue

Multiple reporters have said that Penn State plans to remove the Joe Paterno statue that stands outside of the university’s Beaver Stadium. Former ESPN reporter Bonnie Bernstein reported that the Penn State Board of Trustees came to the decision during a vote on a Thursday night conference call. Board member Capt. Ryan McCombie denies that the board voted to remove the statue.
