Someone Commissioned a Banner Plane to Carry a Threat to Tear Down the Joe Paterno Statue

A plane was reportedly flying over State College today with a banner trailing it. The banner reportedly read “Take the statue down or we will.” It obviously references the Joe Paterno statue outside of the university’s Beaver Stadium. Penn State recently said that a decision had not yet been made on the fate of the statue in the wake of the release of the Free Report. [Twitter]
