Vance Worley Has a Bone Chip
Some good (?) news for the 2012 Phillies is that starting pitcher Vance Worley has a bone chip. The Vanimal was placed on the 15-day DL last week with elbow inflammation. The diagnosis means he’ll have to pitch through some pain, but won’t need surgery until after the season. So, he might be ready to come off the DL on May 27th. [Inquirer]
