New Barnes Foundation Official Dedication

This morning, the fancy new Barnes Foundation on the Benjamin Franklin Parkway was officially dedicated to its founder Albert C. Barnes. The doors opened at 12:07 p.m. and a group of trumpeters welcomed guests into the new building. Mayor Nutter said, “It’s the real deal.” Ed Rendell said, “It’s awesome.” [Inquirer]
