Adam Yauch—better known as MCA of the Beastie Boys—has passed away at the age of 47. Back in 2009, Yauch announced that he was undergoing treatment for a cancerous parotid gland and a lymph node. He recently missed the Beastie Boys induction to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame [TMZ]
