Taxpayers Money Covers Utilities at Water Works Restaurant

The city has been footing the bill for utilities at the Water Works Restaurant near the Philadelphia Museum of Art. Water Works has been around for nearly six years and the city has been paying for the utilities for a majority of that time period. Mayor Nutter’s administration has launched an investigation as to what may have caused the city to mistakenly cover the cost of utilities for the restaurant. Taxpayer money probably took care of about $225,000 in electricity alone over the course of the past six years. [Daily News]
