Tribune Company—which owns PHL-17—is in the midst of a dispute with DirecTV over retransmission fees. Negotiations stopped on Monday and Tribune Company has announced that if a deal isn’t reached by Saturday, programming for DirecTV subscribers will be cut off. Probably not the greatest news in the world for Phillies fans hoping to catch Opening Day on the station a week from tomorrow. [Philly Burbs]
