Spring. Is. Here. We lost an hour of sleep gained an extra hour of daylight. It’s supposed to be 74 degrees tomorrow. Highs should be in the upper 60s and low 70s for the next week and change. Seriously, we’ve already packed our bags for the Shore. [The Weather Channel]

Sixers Beat Knicks. Jeremy Lin and company weren’t up to snuff on Sunday as Lou Williams and the Sixers topped the New York Knickerbockers handily. That’s three straight wins for our guys. [The 700 Level]

Soda Tax? Yeah, we’re really talking about it again. This time, it’s because while Mayor Nutter says that while the possible return of the soda-tax isn’t on his radar, he wouldn’t rule out the possibility of a third attempt at passing the measure. [Inquirer]

Drexel Feels Snubbed. Temple and Lehigh Go Dancing. Drexel fans had a rough weekend as the Dragons’ bubble popped, relegating the team to the NIT with St. Joe’s and LaSalle. Temple was named as a fifth seed and will face the winner of Cal/South Florida in the first round. Lehigh drew Duke. Ah, it’s the most wonderful time of the year. [6 ABC]

St. Patrick’s Day Came Early. Yesterday, Philadelphians took to the streets in Center City to celebrate the Irish holiday. [Inquirer]

Flyers Streak Ends at Five. The Devils scored three goals in the final frame to beat the Flyers 4-1. The loss ended Philly’s five-game win streak. Bryz still has his shutout streak in tact, though, as Bob tended net in the loss. [Yahoo!]

Chesco Flag Burning. Someone burned the American flag flown outside of Chester County’s West Grove Presbyterian Church. A church employee found the remnants of the flag in a puddle over the weekend. [Daily news]
