E-Z Pass Only on the Pennsylvania Turnpike?


The actual implementation of such a plan is still at least half a decade away, but officials in Harrisburg have begun talks about transforming how people pay to travel on the Turnpike. A report posted on the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission website indicates that, while in the infant stages, the idea of converting all toll booths on the Turnpike with overhead gantries. Drivers not registered with E-Z Pass would have their license plate photographed and would have bills sent to their homes. [Fox 29]
