Police Commissioner Charles Ramsey Says the Daily News “F#$%ed up.” The Philadelphia Police Department rehired an officer who was fired last year. Officer Joseph Sulpizio was let go amid allegations that he had stolen money and drugs from multiple suspects. Police Commissioner Ramsey says the Daily News screwed up the investigation by publishing a story too soon. Officer Sulpizio has been rehired and assigned to the 22nd District in North Philly. Fire Displaces Nearly Two Dozen People. A fire destroyed a number of row houses in Morrisville last night. Thirteen adults and nine children have been displaced by the blaze and are being helped by the American Red Cross. Firefighters say that a short circuit in a vent fan in one of the bathrooms ignited the fire. [FOX 29]

Armed Guy Tries to Start Fight With Cops in Police Station. A 23-year-old Delaware County man allegedly stormed into the Upper Darby police station hoping to have his girlfriend released from jail. It seems as though classic debate tactics failed him so he started threatening officers and pulled out a loaded gun. He was subdued and later had to be tased. [CBS 3]
