The Boyd Theatre Needs an Angel

The historic Boyd Theatre on Chestnut Street in Center City needs an angel. Or so says the president of Friends of the Boyd, Howard Haas. Haas was quoted in a piece in USA Today on historic movie houses across the country. Friends of the Boyd is an organization committed to preserving the historic theater, which originally opened in 1928 and is currently for sale. [USA Today]
