No-Brainer Gift Ideas for the Philly Sports Fan

Tickets to Skate on the Winter Classic Rink. There are a bunch of public skating sessions on the rink at Citizens Bank Park on January 3rd and 7th. Act quickly because the first few sessions released to the public sold out almost immediately. Adult tickets are $60; kids tickets are $40, and it’ll cost you $10 to go and watch. Disclaimer: Roy Halladay probably won’t be throwing a bullpen session at CBP those days. Although, I wouldn’t put it past him at this point. [Comcast Tix]

Winter Classic Alumni Game Tickets. The cheapest tickets for the Winter Classic on January 2nd are still listed at about $345. But, the Flyers and Rangers alumni will lace up the skates for a game at Citizens Bank Park on New Year’s Eve. Tickets start at just $50.
