Rittenhouse Square Tree Lighting Tuesday

The holiday season is officially upon us. Tonight, Philadelphians will reunite with old friends over dinner or drinks. Tomorrow, the city will wake up to watch a parade and some Thursday football before having an early dinner and nodding off for a nap on the couch. On Friday morning everyone will line up outside of shopping malls and department stores to save on gifts and then, next Tuesday in Rittenhouse Square, we’ll light the city’s largest Christmas tree at 5 p.m.—a gesture officially kicking-off the holiday festivities in Philadelphia.
