Ritualistic Animal Beheadings at a Vineland Cemetery

Because news in Philly wasn't vile enough already this week

Police responded to a call at the Sacred Heart Cemetery in Vineland, New Jersey yesterday after a groundskeeper reported of finding a decapitated pig head placed on a grave. The groundskeeper said multiple other instances have occurred since the summer in which cows and mice have suffered a similar fate. A large black pot filled with stones, four-leaf clovers and dolls have also lead police to believe that the beheadings are part of some sort of sacrificial ritual. Vineland Police and the Archdiocese of Camden are stepping up security on the grounds. [NBC Philadelphia]
