Two Redistricting Proposals Introduced

City Council sees two suggestions for how to divvy up Philly

City Council is currently tasked with the long and arduous process of redrawing district boundaries in Philadelphia. Today, the Council heard proposals for two different redistricting scenarios that focus on compromising in relation to the controversial lines to slice up portions of the Northeast including the 6th, 7th and 10th Districts. Technically the Council has a deadline of tomorrow to negotiate a deal before they start losing pay, but their paycheck scheduled for September 22nd would be the first to go, so they have until then before being docked.
