Plus: What to rent tonight

Tonight Rent: Jaws (R, 1975). June 20th marked the 35th year that people were afraid of swimming in pools. (Even now I still expect to hear the “bum-bum” and see a dorsal fin emerge from the chlorinated water.) What may surprise you on another viewing, though, is that you—like me—may actually root for the shark. “You’re gonna need a bigger boat.” Indeed. My Grade: A
