The Trailblazer Award: The Trailblazer Award acknowledges and celebrates a female who has made a significant impact on the Philadelphia region’s business community. Through an exclusive reception, with approximately 100 women in attendance, Philadelphia magazine generates public recognition of the accomplishments and positive contributions of a local “Woman in Business.”
Philly Cooks: Created over 14 years ago, the iconic Philly Cooks™ brand was the first to honor the talented chefs of the Philadelphia region. Today, Philadelphia magazine and the Foobooz blog have grown to be the Food and Drink authorities in Philadelphia and have transformed their signature Philly Cooks™ event into a gastronomic series. This 2-part event series, is an interactive food experience—giving participants intimate access to the best of Philadelphia’s food scene.
Rittenhouse Row Spring Festival: More than 65,000 women and their families from around the Philadelphia region attend the Rittenhouse Row Spring Festival each year. The festival takes over the streets surrounding Rittenhouse Park along Walnut Street between Broad and 18th Streets and from Locust to Sansom Streets with outdoor dining, pop-up entertainment, family-oriented activities, and sampling booths. This one-day event provides the public with a taste of Center City living.
Wine and Food Festival: Philadelphia Wine and Food Festival highlights over 160 wine samplings providing guests will the opportunity to taste exclusive wines from around the world. Wines will be paired with modern cuisine from Philadelphia’s best restaurants – from charcuterie to gourmet desserts.
Be Well Boot Camp: Be Well Boot Camp is an all-day, exhilarating event dedicated to bringing the Be Well Philly brand to life. The first of its kind in the region, it features the hottest fitness classes with Best of Philly® instructors, interactive panel discussions presented by the region’s top doctors and health experts, and a marketplace full of shopping, consultations, massages, healthy cooking demos, and more. Be Well Boot Camp motivates women to continue their active, healthy lifestyles or make necessary changes to adopt healthier habits.
Best of Philly: Best of Philly®—the most highly anticipated event of the year—celebrates Philadelphia magazine’s annual Best of Philly® issue highlighting all Philadelphia has to offer from the best food, drinks and restaurants to the best places to shop and visit. Approximately 1,000 attendees including all of the Best of Philly® winners, VIP’s, business leaders, influencers, local celebrities, sponsors and members of the press will enjoy the best food in town, listen to the best entertainment, drink the best drinks, and experience the best party of the year.
Battle of the Burger: The Battle of the Burger, a burger lover’s dream come true at the Piazza at Schmidt’s, is Philadelphia magazine’s celebration of the favorite burgers in Philadelphia. To choose which restaurants are invited to participate, Philadelphia locals will vote online for the restaurant with their favorite burger, narrowing it down to the top twenty. These top twenty will then battle it out live at the Battle of the Burger with complimentary samples for all to enjoy. Plus, guests will also enjoy complimentary Amstel® Light.
Philly Mag Shops: In celebration of Philadelphia’s retail scene, Philadelphia magazine hosts Philly Mag Shops—a one-day shopping event that connects our best shops with our best shoppers. A select group of the region’s top boutiques and designers will be invited to sell their goods at a discounted rate.
In addition to taking advantage of one-day only prices, Philly Mag Shops is the culmination of The Philadelphia magazine Fashion Project, Philly Mag’s search for the best and brightest new design talent in the city. The eight finalists’ designs will be prominently displayed at the event, and the winner, as chosen by the public through online voting, will be announced by fashion and lifestyle editor, Emily Goulet.
Brides, Bubbly, and Brunch: Gather your bridal party for a day of pampering and wedding planning with Philadelphia Wedding. Brides, Bubbly, and Brunch provides attendees with the opportunity to dive into their wedding preparation amongst some of the best in the business.
Guests mingle with Philadelphia’s finest boutiques and learn what is hot from local experts – from the latest in invitation design to décor to photography. Strolling models showcase exclusive bridal gown designs and local spas provide guests with the chance to try out new hairstyles for their special day. With over 20 local vendors, brides immerse themselves in all of the must-haves in fashion, accessories and beauty tips.
Design Home: The Philadelphia magazine Design Home is an exquisite example of luxury living in the Philadelphia region. New construction and renovations, Design Home showcases the best in architecture, interior design, construction, amenities, and trends.
For approximately five weeks, the home is open for tours attracting thousands of affluent consumers from the Main Line, Philadelphia, and surrounding suburbs.
WhiskeyFest: Featuring dozens and dozens of whiskies, scotches, bourbons, rums, vodkas, gins, tequilas and more, Whiskey Fest turns Lincoln Financial field into a celebration of all things liquor. Distilleries both local and from across the world pour samples and mixed cocktails for attendees.
ThinkFest: Ideas, Innovation, Creativity: ThinkFest brings together Philadelphia’s smartest, most innovative, and most creative people to engage in conversations about the future of our city and our world.
This full-day networking event features panel discussions focused on today’s age of innovation and targets an audience of young professionals and entreprenuers looking to change the face of their industry.
