Inspired by the Taj Mahal’s gleaming white-tiled dome? Lusting after the Colosseum’s travertine? No need to buy a plane ticket and a chisel. The folks here travel to Brazil, India and Italy to stock porcelain tile, Italian marble, mosaics, and stone for your kitchen and bath surfaces. Volpe’s new 24,000-square-foot design center in Paoli offers endless inspiration for tile and kitchen and bath design, but also offers options for fireplace surrounds, custom windows and doors, and entertainment centers.

We were in process of upgrading our home for resale and had Volpe Tile replace existing tile and granite on both interior and exterior surfaces. Their service and workmanship was excellent, and contributed to the prompt resale of our home. I find it strange that there are so many bad reviews on this website since other websites do not have any negative reviews of this business. I believe all previous reviews read like they were written by the same person. It is a shame when one person is allowed to have so much say about their own personal problems with a business. That is what the BBB is for.

I cant express enough the unprofessional business practices of this place. First their prices are through the roof. They play some sort of game with their prices where everything is a big secret when they price tiles out since nothing in the store has a price on it. You get the feeling they size you up and make up a price. Then there is a short brown headed women who I think is a asst. store manager running about the showroom cursing profanities out loud. While the redheaded manager dresses more like she works at Fredricks of Hollywood instead of a tile store. I dont know who was more embarrassed by her top me, my wife or the poor sales person that was waiting on us. We finally decided to walk out when another customer came in the store mad because his tile still hadnt come in after 2 months of waiting. He called the vendor directly to find out where his tile was and was told Volpe wasnt being shipped tiles anymore because they didnt pay their bills. Stay away!

A "comedy" of erros from the website posting the wrong hours, to not calling to template, to not tagging the piece of granite that I chose, to needing 2 different crews coming out to install, to the installer stripping screws on a brand new custom cabinet door while replacing it, and the final nail was being told by the salesman that he did everything he was supposed to do, its the installers problem now...WOW...I swear I will never go back here!

Volpe installed cracked granite countertops in our kitchen. The owner Frank Volpe is unwilling to give a refund or replacement because he said it is within industry standards. We have outside contractor statements confirming the granite is cracked and should be replaced no questions asked. We filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and received a letter stating that Volpe ignored two requests for contact from the BBB. It is obvious customer service and quality of product are not high on the list based on our experience.

Ordered tile and were supposed to recieve in 2 wks. Ended up being a month until we finally cancelled the order. A bathroom project was on hold for 3 wks with no tile. During that month I called at least 3 to 4 times every week for an update on the tile. No one could give me an answer or return a phone call. Found out they were lying the whole time when I finally got in contact with the manager. The tile order was never placed and not one of the employees checked to see if there was a problem during a span of a month. They just continued to lie and not return calls. The manager continued to make excuses and still did not give me a straight answer. By far, the worst customer service I've ever experienced.
