TOOTH REPLACEMENT

When you’re no longer cashing in baby teeth for dollars under the pillow, losing a tooth—or multiple teeth—isn’t a happy event. Unfortunately, statistics show that 26 percent of adults will have lost all of their permanent teeth by age 74, and that 69 percent of adults ages 35 to 44 have lost at least one permanent tooth to gum disease, tooth decay, a failed root canal or an accident. Luckily, there are many options for replacing lost teeth, including everything from bridges and dentures to dental implants.
