More than 11,000 new cases of cervical cancer will be diagnosed within the U.S. this year and more than 4,000 American women will loose their battle with the disease annually. It can occur at any age, but is most often diagnosed after age 30. Hispanic and African American women are more likely to develop cervical cancer than Caucasian females.
