At the top of the episode, Tyra surpises the models by gathering them for a much-needed therapy sesh, or what she calls chakra-aligning. When Marvin breaks down in tears, Tyra consoles his weepy ways by giving him the confidence boost he so desperately needs. Throughout the rest of the session, Jourdan unveils her deep insecurities; Cory gushes over Momma Tyra, reminding her that the gays love her; and Jeremy scores some pointers on what to do with his buff bod. (I’ll tell you what you can do with that buff bod!) Then things come to a halt when the emotional tension between Nina and Chris is revealed, leaving Nina even more of a frazzled-puss than ever before. Poor kitty.
We’re getting pretty far into Cycle 20 of Top Model, which can only mean one thing: A trip! This season, Tyra sent the remaining models to the tropical oasis of Bali, a place that she said transformed her life. Does that mean we’ll see big changes in the TM house? Or will things continue in their regular high-drama fashion? Lo-cal brownie points to whomever guessed the latter.
On this week’s all-new episode, we finally found out which male model would be brought back into the pack after a two-week wait. The boy with the bodacious body, Jeremy, beat out ice-cream man Mike and Jesus-look-alike Phil for one more chance to be on top.
This week, Renee’s battle with Jourdan heated up, while she also spiced things up with Marvin under the sheets. But it was the plot twist at the end of the episode that had jaws dropping and everyone talking. Read more »
I’m beginning to think America’s Next Top Model has become less about a modeling competition and more a docudrama about the emotionally dysfunctional lives of young, good-looking people. This past week’s episode justified my hypothesis with a boy who just couldn’t stop crying, and an explosive fight between housemates. Read more »

This week on the Tyra Banks School for Young Drag Queens, the 12 models were given a role-reversal challenge to see how well they could walk in the shoes of the opposite sex. With our main lady boy Cory in the mix, we knew he would teach his competitors a thing or two about what it takes to twerk it in lashes and heels. Read more »
We’re excited to announce that we pulled some strings with Tyra and booked Cory Wade Hindorff — the local guy who’s given us a whole new reason to watch America’s Next Top Model — for the cover of our 2013 winter issue. He brought his supermodel A-game to the photo shoot this week at Power Plant Productions in Old City. The session was shot by NYC photog Steven Laxton, who also photographed Jesse Sani for our fall issue. After the shoot, we sat down with Cory at El Vez for a Q&A that will appear inside the magazine.
This week’s America’s Next Top Model brought us trailer-park-pageant realness, dizzying runway walks and remarks from a certain that bordered on homphobic. Read more »
Each season, Miss Banks shakes things up by giving her contestants makeovers to mold them into the top models they aspire to be. With boys in this cycle’s mix, we were all curious how this would play out. The 14 girls and guys vying for the top prize got some pretty rad new looks. Here’s what else went down in Episode 3: Read more »
