This year’s Walk Against Hate will feature Philly Drag Mafia and a focus on LGBTQ inclusion.
The Anti-Defamation League has announced the 2016 Walk Against Hate, a two-mile walk at the Philadelphia Navy Yard that will feature interactive social expos and performances by Philly Drag Mafia and Philly’s very own Yazz The Greatest from FOX’s Empire. “It will bring the community together to celebrate diversity and inclusion as well as what makes each and every one of us unique,” said Brandon Morrison, general chair of this year’s walk. “We’re excited to have a wide variety of performers at this year’s event, including the Philly Drag Mafia, as well as have Equality Pennsylvania in attendance at our Diversity Expo.” The event is scheduled for Sunday, May 15th, from 9 to 11:30 a.m. at the Marine Parade Grounds, with Mayor Jim Kenney doing the kickoff.
