November is a very good month to be thankful for the LGBTQ community in Philadelphia. There’s a little something for everyone on the agenda, from a series of cabarets by Quince Productions to the Philly Beauty Ball to the 10th anniversary of the Philadelphia Voices of Pride. Here’s our picks for 20 great gay things to do this month.

Merlin and Wart: It’s the first full-length play ever staged at Tavern on Camac, and it’s based on the tale of the Byberry Mental Hospital on the outskirts of Philly. Thursday, November 5th through Sunday, November 22nd, various times, $25, Tavern on Camac.

Eric Jaffe at Penn 6: Eric Jaffe will serenade diners at Penn 6 with his ukulele skills during this special evening with a fix menu and wine pairings. Thursday, November 5th, 6 pm, $35-55, Pennsylvania 6.

Philly Beauty Ball: The popular amateur drag party is returning for its 6th year, and will feature Bev as the Mistress of Ceremonies. All proceeds benefit The Attic Youth Center, plus there will be special contests all evening. Saturday, November 7th, 7 pm, $10, Woody’s.

Out4STEM Job Fair: Learn how to develop a resume, perfect your interviewing skills, and meet with potential employers at this LGBT-friendly job fair for youth aged 16 to 24. Thursday, November 19th, 5 pm, free, Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.

Trans|Post Opening Night: William Way Community Center’s annual exhibition featuring artwork by trans designers kicks off with a reception highlighting Linus Curci, this year’s featured artist. Thursday, November 19th, 6pm, free, William Way Community Center.

Drag Mafia at Spartans NYB: Brittany Lynn and her crew are taking over South Philly for three shows in one night. Tickets include bottled beer, food, and, obviously, entertainment! Friday, November 20th, 7 pm, $30, Spartans NYB.

Stimulus Black and White Party: Wish Stimulus co-producers Amber and Morgan a Happy Birthday at this huge queer event, featuring three dance floors, go-go dancers, and DJs to spin beats all night long. Friday, November 20th, 10 pm, Voyeur Nightclub.

Déjà vu- Ten Years Later: The Philadelphia Voices of Pride celebrate 10 years at this birthday concert, featuring Broadway, classical, pop, and more. Come hear the only Philly choir that includes members from the entire LGBTQ community. Saturday, November 21st, 8 pm, $15-25, Trinity Center for Urban Life.

Shampoo Nightclub Reunion Party: It’s a major throwback when Shampoo returns for a one-night only reunion. DJ Robbie Tronco (along with many others) will be spinning tunes, and there will be live performers, drag queens, and lots more. Saturday, November 21st, 9 pm, $15, Skybox Event Center.
