Goodness, Kimmel Center: You are driving all of us show tune queens broke! First, Audra McDonald. Then, Kristin Chenoweth. Now, you’re bringing the utterly divine Megan Hilty, star of the now-shuttered Smash, to the City of Brotherly Love. What’s a Broadway lover to do (but buy tickets)?

Hilty, who rightfully turned heads in the Broadway productions of Wicked and 9 to 5, will be bringing her musical talents to Philadelphia this May at the Merriam Theatre. She’ll be joined by none other than Seth Rudetsky on the piano, who is also joining Audra McDonald at the Merriam this November.
