The second season of qFLIX, Philadelphia’s LGBTQ film festival, opens on July 7th and features over 50 diverse films from a wide variety of genres. The six-day cinema event includes several world premieres from both local and internationally-known filmmakers.

Of particular note is the festival’s opening production, Beautiful Something, which was shot entirely in Philadelphia by local filmmaker Joseph Graham and will play at the Kimmel Center’s Perelman Theater. Other screenings will take place at the Prince Theatre and the Caplan Center for the Performing Arts at the University of the Arts.

There are all-access passes, plus tickets for individual screenings, available via the qFLIX website. We’ve rounded up the trailers for some of the festival’s highlights below, which will hopefully provide just enough of a taste of the movies to make some ticketing choices. Happy viewing (and make sure to get extra butter on your popcorn).
