FIRST LOOK: Wreath Laying Ceremony With James Obergefell

James Obergefell, the recent plaintiff in the Supreme Court’s marriage equality case, was on hand as dozens attended a wreath laying ceremony at Independence Hall at the Gay Pioneers Historical Marker. The commemoration kicked off the weekend-long celebration of the 50th anniversary of LGBT civil rights in Philadelphia. We were there to capture the intimate ceremony.
