Delaware Valley Legacy Fund (DVLF) Executive Director Samantha Giusti has been named one of Regions Business Philadelphia’s Women Who Lead in Philadelphia” list. Giusti, who is also a G Philly contributor, is not only the youngest in DVLF’s history of executive directors but the first female to fill the position.

She is ranked on the “Women Who Lead in Philadelphia” list with the likes of the President of Chestnut Hill College, Dr. Carol Jean Vale, and Paula Fryland, the regional president of PNC Financial Services.

The publication notes, “Samantha Giusti easily could have been intimidated or even shied away from the position [at DVLF]. But she always knew she wanted to be in a field like this and had been working her way to the top for quite a while. When she landed there, it was truly a perfect fit.” The authors also credit her journey throughout the organization, starting as a volunteer and working “her way from the ground up.”

Giusti also offered this advice to other women: “Find what you love and go after it. Find out what it takes and develop those skills that it takes to land your dream job.”
