5 Hottest Male Movie Villains

Ryan Guzman's performance in The Boy Next Door got our wheels turning ...

This weekend, the new Jennifer Lopez thriller The Boy Next Door is set to stalk theaters worldwide. The film plays like an erotic Lifetime movie, but with lots of violence and sex. In any case, the biggest selling points are the two gorgeous stars—especially Ryan Guzman, even though he plays a character on the brink.

This got me thinking, who are some of the sexiest male psycho killers that have terrorized the movie screens in recent years. These characters are supposed to make your blood run cold, but instead you need to call an ambulance from the hot flashes. Let’s take a look at five of the sexiest psychopaths that have headlined the silver screen in recent years.

Ryan Guzman, The Boy Next Door

In honor of The Boy Next Door, which opens in theaters this weekend, we kick off the list with its star Ryan Guzman. If you’ve seen the trailers for the movie, you know Guzman—a former dancer—and J.Lo get hot and heavy during a scandalous sex scene. Sadly, the boy goes psycho soon after, but those abs still glisten and the ass shots are aplenty. The movie may never reach the heights of Fatal Attraction (or Swimfan), but at least it’s giving women and gay men what we all came to see: sweaty Ryan Guzman fixing a carburetor in a dirty white t-shirt.

Idris Elba, No Good Deed

In No Good Dead, Idris Elba plays an escaped murderer who terrorizes a mother (Taraji P Henson) and her little girl. At first, he puts on the nice act, and who wouldn’t fall for those swol pecs, and that deep voice and seductive eyes. How could you not want to be this guy’s captive? The whole thing plays like the worst thrillers from the ’90s but damn Elba looks sexy in a shower, even if he’s supposed to be a felon. True, Idris does flip the murderous switch during the second-half, but everyone has his or her flaws; we can work with it.

Christian Bale, American Psycho

Some of you may recall that before Christian Bale became Batman (pronounced in angry, grunty voice), he burst onto the scene as hot-ass serial killer Patrick Bateman in American Psycho. The film was a razor sharp satire of the ’80s, with Bale embodying everything that was vapid and shallow during that time. Of course, that degree of vanity means Bale needed to be chiseled and sculpted to physical perfection. Several scenes during the opening showcase all the actor’s goods, and isn’t there just something weirdly hot about doing shirtless crunches while The Texas Chainsaw Massacre plays in the background? Discuss.

Mark Wahlberg, Fear

Oh, Marky Mark, how do we love thee, let me count the good vibrations, err ways. Those of us who were kids during the early ’90s may remember sneaking into the movie theater to see Fear. This movie featured some amazing gems, not limited to a pre-Elle Woods Reese Witherspoon, a post-Who’s the Boss Alyssa Milano and of course Mark Wahlberg as the psycho boyfriend. Even as a white-trash nutcase who can’t even spell (Nicole 4 Eva), Marky Mark’s buff body and doofy smile still break hearts left and right to this very day. Jordan Knight could never!

Ryan Reynolds, The Amityville Horror

The Amityville Horror was a lame remake of a terrible ’70s horror phenomenon, but the update was memorable for one reason only: Ryan Reynolds looking buff and hot. In the beginning of the film, he’s a little boring, but as soon as the evil house starts possessing him, things get interesting. In fact, the darker Reynolds gets, the hotter he gets. By the time he’s gone full psycho late in the film, you could care less about what happens to that annoying wife and kid. Give us more shots of lumbersexual Ryan standing in the pouring rain wielding an axe. Thanks.
