All summer Stoli and Gay Cities have been hosting competitions across the country to round up 12 finalists for its annual Stoli Guy competition. One of the last ones was held last Tuesday night at Icandy, where Allentown choreographer Mark Figueroa won the chance to represent Philly in the final competition later this month in New York.

You may know that Philly’s Billy Cavallo won the national competition last year, so it would be fantastic to have a hometown boy win two years in a row. The prize is pretty fantastic: $10,000 and a trip to Key West.

I was one of the judges at last week’s competition, and I helped choose Figueroa for his confidence on stage, his support for his fellow competitors, and, well … he’s just a downright dreamboat. It would be great to see him win the whole shebang, and we have the opportunity to help him. From now through September 16th, Gay Cities is allowing folks to vote for their favorite Stoli Guy on its site. You can vote once a day until voting ends. Then, on September 18th, the winner will be crowned at the final competition at Space Ibiza in New York.
