Every hump day, a Philly woman shares her local picks for Woman Crush Wednesday. Today, we’re killing two birds by introducing G Philly‘s brand new reporter, Christina Ferraz. See who she’s crushing on in the slideshow below:
My name is Christina Ferraz, and these are my picks for Woman Crush Wednesday.
This photographer of Philly's famed Cutn Paste parties describes herself as “butch femme.” (Um, excuse me while I drool all over myself.) You can catch her taking pretty pictures of you and your friends every first Friday of the month at The Bike Stop.
Precolumbian, also known as Chaska Sofia, is known around the world for creating madness on the dancefloor, but she's keeping her finger on the pulse of Philly, too. Locally, she inspires change in the community as a Leeway Transformation activist, and this Saturday she's launching "SELENA!," a free monthly queer dance party at Dahlak Paradise. Trust me — one spin on the dancefloor and you’ll fall in love with Chaska, too. (Photo credit: tinker coalescing)
When she’s not wreaking havoc in roller derby skates, you can find Megan fundraising for local nonprofit Women Against Abuse. No matter which world of hers you’re in, it’s clear she runs the show. That’s so hot! #bestillmyheart
I’m a sapiosexual, so intelligent women are my weakness. Sometimes when this gorgeous UPenn Ph.D. talks to me I forget how to speak English. Can you blame me, though?
Education specialist at the Attic Youth Center by day and MMA fighter by night, Evan fights tirelessly for justice — but don’t let her sharp wit and quick feet intimidate you. She’s always the first to crack a joke and the last to stop laughing. A fighter with a heart of gold? That's what I call a knockout.
