New York City-based cabaret star Mark Nadler is coming to Philly to lead us on a journey “through the underground world of German cabarets.” In his latest show, I’m a Stranger Here Myself, Nadler will perform songs that gave power to the downtrodden in Hitler’s Germany, tunes that run the gamut from salacious to hilarious, and that were made famous by folks like Kurt Weill and the great Marlene Dietrich. Here’s a trailer:
The show kicks off this week, on Wednesday, April 2nd, and we’re giving away two pairs of tickets that can be used at any performance through Sunday, April 6th. Since we don’t have a lot of time, we’re going to make this one easy: I will give a pair of tickets to the first two people email firstname.lastname@example.org with the subject line “I want to see Nadler!”
I’m a Stranger Here Myself runs April 2nd through April 12th at the Prince Music Theater. For more information and ticket links, go here.
