G Philly Nominated for 2014 City and Regional Magazine Award
Pardon me if I toot our own horn a little, but we just received the exciting news that G Philly is up for a 2014 City Regional Magazine Award (CRMA).
Our Summer 2013 issue — featuring the impossibly hunky Gunnar Montana on the cover — is up for the Best Ancillary: General Interest award. The issue, presided over by editor-in-chief Michael Callahan, featured our Summer Guide to Rehoboth, a profile on New Jersey porn star Joey Stefano, the intriguing “What Do Straight Guys Really Think About Us,” a Q&A with Stripped model JT Goodson and more.
Philadelphia magazine was also nominated for 13 other awards, including Best Column, Best Reporting, Writer of the Year and Spread Design. See the full list of nominees here.
The awards will be handed out in May 17-19 at the CRMA’s annual conference at the Marriott Wardman Park Hotel in Washington, D.C. Wish us luck. We’re nominated alongside 5280 (Denver)‘s Traveler, the D Magazine CEO Corporate Counsel Awards, and the Washingtonian‘s Welcome Guide.
