Phreak N’ Queer Kicks Off Tomorrow

We've got the full event lineup.

The third annual Phreak N’ Queer Arts and Music Festival (PNQ) kicks off tomorrow with a 4-day itinerary of radical-minded concerts, art crawls and readings meant to “push the creative boundaries of local LGBTQ artists.”

A new crop of organizers has joined the PNQ team this year, including burlesque artist Shannon Windsor (aka Miss Mary Wanna), performance artist  Ruby L.L. Voyager and Leah Basarab of Gender Edge Collective. Their contribution has resulted in a festival that is even more political, with a wider range of events catering to the all-ages crowd — starting with tomorrow’s festival opening Art Crawl on East Passyunk Ave and a show at the Rotunda called Crash Landing.
