PLAYDAR: Music For Your Beyonce-in-Philly Pre-Party

Feast on a bootylicious playlist of new and classic Beyoncé remixes before she lights up the stage at the Wells Fargo Center.

Tonight, Beyoncé is bringing her Mrs. Carter World Tour to the Wells Fargo Center, so this afternoon we’re getting the party started early with a pre-show playlist of Queen Bey’s best remixes.

I’ve chosen some of my favorite reworks from over the years, including Karmatronic’s version of “Diva” and the thunderous remix of “Single Ladies,” by Dave Aude. NYC-based dance-music label Peace Bisquit — the same company that reps gay hip-hopper Cazwell — also just unleashed an artillery of Beyoncé remixes that are worthy of inclusion. Two of them are re-workings of “Grown Woman,” the recently released single from the animated film Epic, and the other is a much-needed update of Beyoncé’s H&M theme song, “Standing on the Sun.” The latter revamps are part of a compilation called “The Unofficial Mrs. Carter Remixes,” and are available via free download on Peace Bisquit’s website. Listen to each song in the videos below, and click the song titles to access the download pages.

“Grown Woman” (Monsieur Adi Remix)

“Grown Woman” (Nervo Remix)

“Standing on the Sun” (Tiesto Remix)

“Green Light” (Freemasons Club Remix)

“Diva” (Karmatronic Club Remix)

“Halo” (Dave Aude Remix)

“Single Ladies” (Dave Aude Club Mix)
