WEEKEND ROUNDUP: Nude Mingling at Sansom Street Gym

Plus: The best Philly Trans-Health Conference after parties, a 40th-anniversary Rocky Horror Picture Show soiree and more in this weekend's gay events.

FRIDAY HIGHLIGHT: This weekend is all about the Philadelphia Trans-Health Conference. You can check out the busy itinerary of workshops happening today and tomorrow afternoon here, but for this roundup, I want to focus on the parties. Tonight, you can do a veritable post-conference bar crawl thanks to a few shindigs happening when the Convention Center goes dark. Starting at 7 p.m., local activists and lovebirds Wendy Forbes and Tam Woodrum are hosting the VIP Welcome Mixer for PTHC at Tabu (200 S. 12th St., free.) Forbes says the affair is the official welcome wagon for Dr. Curtis Crane, who’s in from San Francisco to teach a workshop at PTHC. Good mingling and complimentary drinks and apps will abound. When you wrap up there at 9 p.m., you’ll have an hour to get ramped up for Original Plumbing‘s PTHC Party After: Philadelphia! at Bike Stop (206 S. Quince St., $6) This is your chance to forget about  networking and dance, dance, dance to the sounds of DJs Nolita Selectro and Average Jo. Don’t forget to treat any out-of-towners to a tour of the Dungeon.

Also happening Friday:

SATURDAY HIGHLIGHT: To celebrate his 50th birthday and the 40th anniversary of the day The Rocky Horror Picture Show made its stage debut at the Royal Court Theatre in London, Philly nightlife god DJ Robert Drake is hosting a concert and screening of everyone’s favorite midnight movie. Slated to perform is NYC post-punk band Bush Tetras and the Transylvania Nipple Productions will delight with a live shadowcast performance. 8 p.m., $20, The Trocadero, 1003 Arch St.

Also happening Saturday:

SUNDAY HIGHLIGHT: You’ve gotta get up early-ish for this one. The now-monthly Drag Yourself to Brunch is hosting its biggest event yet, and fittingly, it’s a dazzling Broadway revue. Order up an omelet and a “Clique Bloody Mary” pitcher while treating your ears to the vocal stylings of local drag queens Cleo Phatra, Tammy Faymous, Neesa Lee Quick. Miss Maddy Milan and Annarexia Von Fistnberg will be hosting. Somebody order that last drag queen some eggs, too. 1 p.m.-4 p.m., $30 (includes all-you-can-eat brunch), Fire & Ice Restaurant, 312 Market St.
