Philly Gay Man to Appear on Next Season of America’s Next Top Model

A 22-year-old local drag celeb joins the first season to feature male and female contestants.

Philly’s Cory Wade Hindorff, who you also may know as local drag queen Serena Starr, has successfully smized his way onto Cycle 20 of America’s Next Top Model. The 22-year-old Wallingford, Pa. native currently lives in Fishtown. Besides being a local drag performer, Hindorff has worked in Philadelphia as a model and he’s acted in several area stage productions, most recently in Broadway Theatre of Pitman’s performance of Altar Boyz and he played Angel Dumott Schunard in a production of Rent at Media Theater.

For Cycle 20, Tyra is switching things up a bit. Not only is this the first season to feature both male and female contestants, but social media is going to be one of the “judges.” On the show’s Facebook page, viewers can weigh in on everything from who stays to how the contestants should be made over. Currently, people are voting on whether Hindorff’s hair should be dyed grey/blond, red or just completely shaved off. You can share your thoughts here. I’m thinking grey/blond all the way!

The results will be played out on live TV this summer.
