G Philly and the Philadelphia Flower Show Team Up for a Party!

God Save the Queens stars the one and only Martha Graham Cracker.

Talk about timely. With gay-marriage legislation making serious leeway in the U.K., there’s never been a better moment for G Philly to team up with this year’s English-garden-themed Philadelphia Flower Show for a big ol’ gay soiree: God Save the Queens!

To celebrate, we’ve invited Martha Graham Cracker to perform. There will also be British-inspired cocktails and hors d’oeuvres and, since the party takes place around low-tea time, I’m sure we can scrounge up some tea and crumpets, too.

G Philly’s new team will be there, including editor Michael Callahan, assistant Alexander Kacala and me, Josh Middleton, a very-possible extremely distant relation to the Duchess of Cambridge. OK, that’s a lie, but a boy can dream, huh?

It’s going to be one hell of a jolly good time.

Sun., March 3, 4 p.m.-6 p.m., $50 (includes Flower Show admission), Pennsylvania Convention Center, 12th and Arch streets. Click here for tickets.
