Tonight: Mimi Imfurst’s Drag Wars Cycle 2 Begins!

Plus: Singing, drunk shirtless boys at PYT and Martha Graham Cracker performs an early show at L’Etage.

G Philly’s roundup of what’s happening later this evening.

What’s that I hear? Oh, Lord, it’s claws coming out. Tonight, Drag Race alum Mimi Imfurst and Brandon Robert’s Philly Drag Wars Cycle 2 kicks off at Voyeur with 29 local contestants vying for a $1,500 prize. Four OG drag divas, Navaya Shay, Omyra Lynn, Lisa Lisa and Brittany Lynn, will mentor a team of drag hopefuls, making the competition even that much juicier. That many drag egos in one building? It’s gonna be catfight-tastic! 11 p.m., call for price, Voyeur, 1221 Saint James St.

Pig Iron Theatre company is packing up for a trip to Japan soon, so founder Dito van Reigersberg is putting on this month’s Martha Graham Cracker Cabaret a wee bit early. The group’s event page promises new songs and bar-top Pilates, so the switcharoo on your calendar will totally be worth it. Plus, hottie trombonist Ernest Stuart is guesting. 8 p.m., $15, L’Etage, 624 S. Sixth St.

Since it started, G Philly’s Alexander Kacala’s #faymeproblems Karaoke has been getting rowdier by the week. Last week, he says, “we had shirtless boys on the bar belting out Queen,” and this week he’s offering a free Citywide to the first person to belt out a Beyonce or Destiny’s Child song, so there’s no telling where that might lead. I’m guessing thongs, a juicy butt and “Bootylicious.” Or is that just wishful thinking? 9 p.m., free, PYT, 1050  N. Hancock St.

This cold is a total asshole, but it doesn’t stand a chance next to a few rounds of tequila. Start warming your belly tonight, when the Tequila Club debuts at Cantina on East Passyunk.Come for the “Introduction to Tequila” class and to sample four tequilas that will be paired with food selections from the South Philly Mexican hotspot’s executive chef Mark McKinney. 7 p.m., $35, Cantina Los Caballitos, 1651 E. Passyunk Ave.
