Preacher: Stand on the Right Side of History

What starts out as a seemingly anti-gay speech offers some big surprises

As Missouri debates an ordinance that would include sexual orientation and gender identity to protections in employment, public housing and accommodations, one pastor came out in support of LGBT rights. While he begins illustrating anti-gay interpretations of of the Bible, the Rev. Phil Snider actually goes onto compare the fight for equal gay rights with that of the civil rights movement, calling for an end to segregation of all kinds.

“I hope you will stand on the right side of history,” he says.
